Shape how AI gets deployed inside global enterprises!

About Haast

We're building one of the first agentic systems for enterprise legal and compliance teams that actually automates their manual work. End-to-end. Delivering 80% faster compliance reviews and 4x productivity gains.

We recently closed a $12M USD Series A (Peak XV Partners, DST Global, Airtree) and are ramping hard; building the infrastructure that will completely re-define how enterprises think about compliance.
Think Canva for design. Atlassian for projects. Haast for compliance.

Why This Role Exists
Compliance is a $50B global problem, and we are rewriting how it's solved.

When Haast lands inside a Tier-1 enterprise, someone needs to understand their legal workflows well enough to deconstruct them, identify the real friction, and architect the AI strategy that fixes it. That person needs to speak the language of General Counsels and CMOs, and know from experience where the bottlenecks exist.

What You'll Own

  • Lead AI implementation projects end-to-end, from onboarding through to full rollout

  • Work with enterprise legal and compliance teams to deconstruct their workflows and identify where AI can do the heavy lifting

  • Translate complex, real-world legal documents into structured logic our AI can act on

  • Help legal, compliance, and marketing users understand, trust, and master the platform

  • Troubleshoot strategic and technical blockers and find clear paths through them

  • Feed live customer insights back to Product and Engineering to shape Haast's roadmap

  • Build repeatable playbooks as we scale our global footprint

What We're Looking For

  • Practiced law, worked inside a legal or compliance function, or advised on legal and regulatory matters in a consulting capacity

  • Enough time in the work to genuinely understand how enterprise teams operate under pressure

  • The credibility to hold a room with senior legal and compliance stakeholders from day one

  • A mind that wants to fix systems, not just work within them

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energised by building, not just executing

  • Already curious about AI, tinkering with tools and asking how they apply to legal work

Why Haast

  • Use what you know differently: your legal, compliance, or consulting experience is the reason you'll be great at this. It's not something to leave behind.

  • Work on something real and trusted by major global enterprises. This isn't a pilot program.

  • Grow fast: learn more in 12 months than most roles offer in three years.

  • Equity and upside: we share success with the people building it.

  • Flexible working: Sydney-based hybrid role for Sydney Siders - Remote First for candidates elsewhere in Australia!

  • Culture: ambitious, engineering-led, no red tape.

How to Apply Send us two things:

  1. Your CV, including your legal, compliance, or consulting background

  2. A short note: How does your experience set you up for success in this role?

Applications reviewed on an ongoing basis. No closing date.

At Haast, we believe bold ideas come from diverse perspectives. Even if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you. #LI-Remote
