Job Description
Are you a driven legal professional ready to tackle complex challenges and make a tangible impact? Endeavour is seeking a passionate lawyer for an exciting two-year full-time fixed-term contract within our expanding Group, Property and Transition legal team. Reporting to a seasoned Senior Lawyer (Technology) and guided by our esteemed General Counsel (Group, Property and Transition), this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in our strategic transformation program.
This isn't about routine legal tasks – it's about diving deep into the world of technology, providing crucial legal advice on everything from day-to-day commercial contracts to critical technology procurement. You'll be a key enabler in establishing Endeavour's independent IT and business systems, directly contributing to our future success.

You'll enjoy significant autonomy, empowering you to take the lead and shape legal strategy, backed by the expertise and support of a collaborative legal team.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- The role will predominantly support Endeavour’s transformation program as it continues to embark on its transition
- Strong technical capability
- Taking a commercial approach to facilitate the business objectives
- Ability to think critically - now and into the future
- Adaptable and effective in complex and ambiguous environments
- Working autonomously, with support from a Senior Lawyer and General Counsel as appropriate.
- Making the complex simple, communicating with clarity
- Thinking holistically and strategically
Our team embraces a hybrid working model, currently attending the state based offices on Tuesday and Thursday.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- Degree in law, a legal practising certificate and a minimum of 3-7 years post admission experience
- Strong expertise in technology, digital and commercial contracts
- Technology and digital project experience
- Technology Procurement agreements
- Software as a Service (SaaS) platform knowledge
- Private practice and in-house experience (preferable)
- In house legal experience in a large and complex organisation, preferably retail
- Able to make pragmatic, risk based judgements
- Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations
- Leads through ambiguity
