Anduril Australia is seeking an individual with Logistics experience, to contribute to the support of our operations for our Maritime products (with a focus on Autonomous Underwater Vessels - Robot Submarines!) and associated assets and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and executing of logistical operations. This role requires a eye for detail and the ability to manage complex logistic supply chains in challenging environments. They must be able to balance multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain a strong focus on safety and operational excellence in the Maritime Domain.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans to support Anduril and customer field operations, deployments and movements; ensuring integration with Engineering and Operational plans.
- Coordinate the movement of systems, equipment, and supplies across various modes of transportation (air, land, and sea).
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure adequate stock levels of critical parts, spares, consumables and support equipment in location.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of support vessels, vehicles and other topside/ground equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other logistics partners.
- Be able to develop contingency plans for emergent logistics challenges.
- Report on budgets and resources for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effective utilization.
- Implement and oversee safety and security protocols for logistics operations, ensuring compliance with relevent regulations, environmental standards, and international laws.
- Manage end-of-life (disposal and recycling) of equipment and hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
- Be the Supply user focal in the maintenance information system.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military logistics or a similar role with involving logistic support of complex systems
- Maritime, mechanical or electrical trades background desirable
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-stress environments with emergent challenges
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable right-sized insights
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- Forklift/crane/rigging/dogging qualifications desirable but not essential
- Be able in the field 20%+ of the time, supporting deployed operations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance
