In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing logistics strategies, managing contracts with logistics partners, and driving operational efficiency across the supply chain. This role ensures cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality logistics services through strategic planning and performance management.
This position will be reporting into the Head of Logistics Planning and will be leading the Contract and Planning team.
Role and Responsibilities
Manage all logistics contractual arrangements in line with SEC guidelines and local regulations, partnering closely with Legal and Operations on renewals, adjustments, and risk mitigation.
Monitor, analyse, and report on logistics performance, defining KPIs and providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Lead bidding and procurement‑related activities, including planning schedules, coordinating scope, and aligning timelines with Procurement.
Evaluate and manage third‑party logistics providers to ensure service quality, compliance, and continuous performance improvement.
Drive operational excellence through process optimisation, automation initiatives, and cost‑reduction strategies supported by data‑driven forecasting.
Develop and implement integrated logistics strategies and service enhancements in collaboration with Procurement, Production, Sales, and other internal teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (preferred), with demonstrated experience in a similar role.
You have strong experience in driving operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Strong technical capability, including SAP proficiency (preferred), advanced MS Excel skills, and experience preparing RFQ’s.
Experience with credit risk analysis and data‑driven decision‑making.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and experienced in leading and developing people.

The nature of this role and level of responsibility may require reasonable additional hours over and above 37.5 hours per week and may also require work outside of ordinary hours.
