Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Oversee the execution of order processing to ensure on-time deliveries to customers and monitor logistics performance.
  • Manage dedicated fleets and transportation routes, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and minimizing disruptions.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, addressing queries, managing urgent requests, and resolving logistics-related issues in real-time.
  • Support central teams in managing and resolving logistics-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on service levels.
  • Track performance metrics related to on-time deliveries, transport quality, and customer satisfaction. Proactively address any variances.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, optimize costs, and enhance service delivery through collaboration with internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of logistics activities with broader business goals.

Are you an experienced administrator or looking to commence a role in logistics administration and want to take the next step in your career with a global ASX listed organisation?

As part of the Supply Chain team and reporting to the Logistics Operations Leader, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day execution of logistics, using business processes that deliver the best-in-class service while ensuring compliance with relevant Safety, COR and Quality requirements.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Resolve operational queries from Internal and External stakeholders to provide a one-stop shop for the logistics inbound calls, and emails
  • Monitor the service performance of Logistics Providers, to ensure all movements are completed, in full, on time and that any delayed movements are pro-actively communicated
  • Investigate, record, and perform root cause analysis of Logistics service failures and complaints within agreed timelines
  • Promote a safety-first culture through training, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with Safety and COR standards
  • Collaborate with Operations, Digital, Planning, and Sales teams to ensure the logistics operation provides the best-in-class service
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within logistics, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the end-to-end logistics operation

  • Exceptional organisation skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and operate well under pressure
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SAP, TMS and CRM Systems highly regarded
  • Logistics Experience highly regarded
