Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Oversee regional logistics and transportation activities to ensure operational efficiency, timely deliveries, and high customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with operational requirements.
- Prepare and analyze logistics performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process optimization initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and reduce costs.
- Resolve logistics-related operational issues promptly, maintaining smooth operations and minimizing disruptions to customer service.
- Lead initiatives to improve logistics procedures, driving cost reduction and operational excellence.
- Manage contracts and monitor financial KPIs, ensuring budget adherence and operational cost efficiency.
- Supervise and manage team activities, including work allocation, performance tracking, and development of team members to ensure high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Ensure data integrity across relevant logistics systems and processes, maintaining accurate records for performance monitoring and decision-making.

Are you experienced in Logistics Transport operations and looking to take the next step in your career with a global ASX listed organisation?
As part of the Supply Chain team and reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of logistics coordinators and will ensure our 3rd Party Logistics Providers deliver the best-in-class service while ensuring compliance with relevant State/Territory OHS&E and COR regulations and legislation.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Monitor the effective performance of Logistics Providers to Service, Communication, Digital, Fleet, Safety and COR metrics
- Mentor, coach and guide the team, addressing employee relations issues, and fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Measure and monitor team activity, productivity, quality and efficiency on an ongoing basis, to optimise performance and contribute to overall logistics objectives
- Lead and enhance safety performance of the team, promoting a safety-first culture through training, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with Safety and COR standards
- Collaborate with Operations, Digital, Planning, and Sales teams to ensure the logistics operation provides the best-in-class service
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within logistics, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the end-to-end logistics operation
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years logistics / supply chain experience
- Previous experience with Safety, Quality and Chain Of Responsibility requirements
- Interpersonal skills, including confidently managing 3rd Party Logistics Providers
- Self-driven to achieve and drive outcomes on a daily basis
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SAP, TMS and CRM Systems highly regarded
