The Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Supply Chain Finance team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities, analysing logistics cost drivers, and reporting variances at month-end. You'll work closely with various stakeholders across Supply Chain Finance, Continuous Improvement, S&OP, FP&A, and NEA finance teams to prepare, reconcile, and convey logistics financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform monthly closing routines and reporting for Logistics
  • Assist in roll-up of monthly performance forecast and perform financial trend and variance analysis reporting
  • Prepare financial reports for Logistics and drive the monthly MPR preparation with key senior stakeholders
  • Assist various stakeholders with Ops Finance and Non-Financial data and KPIs as required
  • Steer, assist, prepare, and convey monthly ad hoc projects
  • Navigate, prepare, and assist in Annual Budgeting process
  • Liaise with S&OP team to reconcile and explain monthly closing, forecast, budget, and international assignments data

We're looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or related discipline
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint proficiency
  • SAP, BPCS, Tableau experience preferred but not essential
  • Analytical skills to simplify and present complex data
  • Effective communication skills across all disciplines and levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and perseverance to work through issues to resolution for extended periods
  • Willingness to liaise and work at operational level, and manage upwards at a more senior level
  • Results-focused and proactive mindset
