About the role:
The ANZ Logistics Operations Co-Ordinator processes and monitors all Supply Chain Spend across ANZ as well as supporting more specialized Logistics functions like Exports, Dangerous Goods Transportation as well as supporting satellite warehouses. They are also responsible as part of the ANZ Supply Chain Team to be cross trained in all other warehouse positions for backup purposes to ensure other positions are covered in the event of staff on leave. They are also responsible for the safety, quality, service level and cost of all in-house and contracted warehousing. The Logistics Specialist will, at all times, adopt safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies, corporate strategy and quality systems.
You will be responsible for:
- Play an active business partnering role in the ANZ Supply Chain Team.
- Being a key member of the ANZ Logistics & Warehouse team, openly demonstrating and embracing the company culture in all actions, behaviors and communication internally and externally.
- Assist the ANZ Supply Chain in receiving, checking and coding invoices in either Coupa or through manual coding methods.
- Assist with setting up new Vendors as required working with local Procurement teams and chasing overseas approvals as required.
- Code Logistics related invoices to correct Cost Centre and GL Codes to ensure correct tracking of costs.
- Maintain monthly spend tracking logs for Inbound, Outbound and Interplant freight by business unit and Country to assist Regional team with Accruals,
- Assist in processing export orders to various Countries via Air or Sea.
- Be able to complete shipping documents for road, air and sea transport,
- Support Satellite warehouses like Tasmania and Brisbane by downloading and processing orders for them through SAP ensuring they are processed on time to help in supporting better OTIF results.
- Ensure SOP’s in place for all processes for use by other staff in future.
- In emergency situations create SAP DRP orders (STO’s) to resupply other AU Plants from main Melbourne DC through SAP process.
- Consistently strive for continued improvement with both costs and efficiencies.
- Assist with problem solving and manage issues in relation to deliveries or products.
- Work with Logistics/Planning Teams to ensure adequate stock levels to meet demand by analysing and monitoring current sales and stock levels, eliminating out of stock situations.
- Assist in training new staff in organisational priorities and processes

- SAP knowledge – Essential
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics, Freight management, import and exports – essential
- Microsoft Word, Excel – Proficient
- A background in the chemical or cleaning sectors would be an advantage
