The successful candidate will have a Computer Science degree or equivalent and possess in-depth knowledge and experience in developing with C++. A strong background in Linux / C++ low latency optimizations is a must. A background in Linux kernel, FPGA, and network card offloading will also be advantageous.

Your future role within QRT

  • The successful applicant will be a key member of the Low Latency Development team, building and enhancing trading systems for QRT.
  • The role will cover design, development, validation, deployment, and production support of QRT's trading system constellation of market data handlers, trading gateways, trading platforms, and other systems surrounding it.

Your present skillset

  • 5+ years of experience in low latency Linux development using C/C++, STL, Boost.
  • Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems.
  • Experience in a front-office trading desk-aligned role is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of distributed network architecture.
  • Familiar with C++ optimization techniques.
  • Familiar with the Linux / GCC development toolchain.
  • Knowledge of market data feed handlers and execution gateways is highly desirable.
  • Team player.
