Manage enquiries through CRM and social channels, qualify clients, create tailored journeys, coordinate with suppliers and destination management companies, and convert leads into bookings while meeting sales targets. About the role
Our consultants look after celebrations. When a couple plans their destination wedding with us, 50 to 100 guests need rooms, experiences and insurance too, and the couple still has a honeymoon to plan. We're looking for a Luxury Travel Consultant for our North Strathfield team who knows premium travel and loves turning enquiries into journeys.
What you'll own- Enquiries to bookings. Couples and families come to us through our brand, our events and our venue and planner partners. You reach out to every enquiry in our CRM and on our social channels, then qualify, propose and confirm.
- Conversion targets. You're measured on how many of those enquiries become bookings, against clear conversion targets.
- Custom journeys and packages. You build, and help our product team build, luxury journeys and travel packages tailored to each client, working directly with our travel and business suppliers and our destination management companies (DMCs).
- Group travel for weddings. Guest room blocks, experiences and travel insurance for the whole wedding party.
- Honeymoons and anniversaries. The couple's own trip, from first idea to last transfer.
- Your client book. Guests from one wedding often become the next couple.
- Support behind you. Flights and ticketing go to our ticketing desk; payments, accounting and operations are handled in-house.
- 5 or more years selling travel, with bookings you closed and values you can tell us about
- Premium or luxury travel experience: hotels, resorts, villas, honeymoons, groups or destination weddings
- A consultative approach, in person and on WhatsApp, email and phone
- Confidence with booking systems (GDS, wholesale platforms or a CRM)
- A record of meeting sales or conversion targets
- Full time, on-site, on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade, including weekends and public holidays around live weddings
- Destination wedding or group travel experience
- A second language, or knowledge of a wedding tradition
- Your own repeat clients or referral network
- A background in luxury concierge, luxury brands, or media, PR or destination tourism agencies
- Pay: $65,000 to $70,000 base plus super, plus uncapped incentives on every booking you make
- Clients come to you from our brand, events and partners
- Back of house handled: ticketing desk, payments, accounting and operations, plus our marketing and distribution teams
- Travel perks: staff travel discounts, famils and hosted property visits
- Luxury partners: perks for you and your clients through Virtuoso and our preferred partner programs with Four Seasons, Marriott (The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis), Hilton (Waldorf Astoria), Hyatt (Park Hyatt), Mandarin Oriental, Belmond and Rosewood
- Family trips: access to luxury family trips at some of the world's best resorts
- Our world: represent Wedded Wonderland at Wedded World and the most luxurious events in Sydney, with our hotel, venue and supplier network behind you
- Training on our booking platforms and supplier programs, with support toward a travel and tourism qualification
- Recognition events through the year, and a path to Senior Consultant and Team Leader
Apply with your CV and tell us about the best booking you made in the last 12 months: who it was for, what you proposed and what it was worth. Every application is read by our talent team.
