This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reserve Bank's Cloud and Collaboration Team supporting RBA transformational projects for a significant multi-year program.

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 admin to join our passionate and collaborative team who share their expertise, drive innovation, and solve complex business challenges.  

You will have experience and extensive understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform and Microsoft Entra ID where you will be developing and managing Identity policies, processes, and controls to support RBA external SaaS and Cloud identity and Access management platform.

About the role

  • Provide technical support and management of Microsoft 365 and Entra platform.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for technical implementation and changes in coordination with RBA project delivery teams.
  • Ensure a health and performance, security, scalability, maintainability of collaboration services.
  • Work with our Identity, Security and Architecture Teams to establish hybrid standards and guidelines for supporting services for Microsoft 35/Entra ID.
  • Ensure that the Bank standards are maintained in accordance with best practice.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the MS 365 platform, MS Entra and ensure all system documentation complies with relevant IT Standards.
  • Perform analysis and design of new MS 365 solutions, undertake configuration tasks, and ensure that solutions are adequately provisioned according to best practice and RBA standards.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to refine business and IT requirements and promote the implementation and adoption of the MS 365 technologies.

About you

  • Technically savvy and inquisitive by nature
  • Extensive understanding of Microsoft 365 Services
  • Expertise in Microsoft Identity and Access management solutions including Entra ID including hands-on configuration experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct analysis of existing dependent systems, applications, and infrastructure, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
  • knowledge of Azure and on-premises infrastructure components, such as Active Directory, ADFS, AD Sync and, networking, security

Technical skills

  • M365 suite - SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Hybrid Cloud
  • Azure, Intune, Purview, AD Connect, Certificate Authority
  • Desired: understanding of Microsoft Intune for managing mobile devices
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
  • Relevant M365 certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. Can demonstrate proficiency and expertise in Microsoft 365 architecture and administration.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, network, virtualisation, and cloud computing
