THE OPPORTUNITY
The Machine Learning Engineer role will develop, design and optimize state-of-the-art CV, Audio, NLP and multiple-modal models.
Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models for computer vision tasks (e.g., image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation), audio processing tasks (e.g., speech recognition, sound classification), and NLP tasks (e.g., text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition).
Research and implement cutting-edge algorithms and techniques from the latest publications in the field.
Optimize model performance and efficiency for deployment in production environments.
Collaborate with data engineers and MLOps engineers to build and maintain robust data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Work with AI Cloud Engineer and contribute to the development of our machine learning infrastructure and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related fields.
Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years in ML engineering, software development, or data science roles with 1+ years focused on LLMs/generative AI.
Solid understanding of Audio/CV/NLP concepts, techniques, and tasks.
Familiar with finetune and model compression techniques such as SFT, pruning, quantization (GGUF, AWQ), or distillation of LLMs.
Expert proficiency in programming languages and platforms is a must, such as Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Hugging Face ecosystem.
Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
