WHAT YOU’LL DO:
At Optiver, you’ll work with our global team of analysts to maintain fundamental coverage of Asian equities and indices. Reporting to the Senior Macro Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Producing commentary and analysis of overnight / intra-day news developments
- Collaborating with traders to translate developments in the real world into trading decisions
- Political and economic scenario modelling in the context of options pricing and trading
- Data driven fundamental analysis of emerging themes in financial markets
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, quantitative finance, or engineering. Masters or PhD highly regarded.
- Strong quantitative skillset paired with creative problem-solving abilities
- 3-8 years of financial markets work experience, ideally as a macro analyst at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund, or as a macro economist/ strategist on the sell-side.
- Experience in options pricing and volatility trading highly regarded.
- Experience in python programming highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
