BizCover is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team! If you have a passion for numbers and thrive in a dynamic environment, you could be the perfect fit for this role.
In this position, you'll play a vital role in providing insightful financial analysis and support to guide the company's strategic decisions. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the SME business insurance market.
Contract- 15 months fixed term contract
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
- Conducting variance analysis and identifying causes of discrepancies
- Assisting with budgeting and budgeting processes
- Supporting internal stakeholders with financial insights and data analysis
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
- Identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management accounting role
- CPA/CA qualification or in progress is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools
- A proactive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset
- Hybrid working model with flexibility to work from home 3 days a week and 2 days a week in the Sydney CBD office
