BizCover is on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our fast-paced finance team! If you have a passion for numbers and thrive in a dynamic environment, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

In this position, you'll play a vital role in providing insightful financial analysis and support to guide the company's strategic decisions. Your expertise will help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the SME business insurance market.

Contract- 15 months fixed term contract

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
  • Conducting variance analysis and identifying causes of discrepancies
  • Assisting with budgeting and budgeting processes
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with financial insights and data analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with business goals
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar management accounting role
  • CPA/CA qualification or in progress is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools
  • A proactive attitude with a solutions-focused mindset
