Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

We are looking for our first Ads Marketing hire in Australia. Contribute to the team’s success by crafting and activating the Netflix advertising story and value proposition to advertisers across Australia. This person will act in the intersection of customers, brands, and the advertising industry to fuel the Ads Marketing narrative through innovation and creativity.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and craft go-to-market strategies and narratives in an exciting way to present the Netflix Ads brand in Australia. 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Ads Marketing, MarComms, Ads Product Marketing, Research, Legal, Marketing Partnerships, Events) to ensure the Netflix Ads positioning comes to life consistently, clearly and culturally nuanced in the market.

  • Lead the local approach for how Netflix Ads shows up at industry events and bespoke client engagements.

  • Architect of innovative and creative strategies to fuel Netflix Ads equity in the local market, striving for excellence and bar-raising tactics. 

  • Understand our partners (advertisers), and seek actionable insights to inform ads marketing strategy, and represent partners to cross-functional teams.

  • Analyze industry trends and customer segmentation to create and strengthen a unique brand proposition to the right audience.

  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with the sales goals and targets.

  • Data Driven: You utilize data comprehensively to make informed decisions, drive strategy, and identify areas for business improvement. You have the ability to interpret, analyze, and present data.

  • Drive Action: You take quick action and tough decisions. You are open to risks and failure to iterate quickly for the sake of a high bar and the business.
