The primary role of Financial Planning & Analysis function is to analyzes financial data (both historical and forward looking) for strategic and operational decision making. Key deliverables include formulating forecasts, profit and loss accounts, financial models and performing variance analysis. Assist in driving company's performance through commercial assessment of tactical and strategic sales and marketing pricing. Developing a detailed commercial understanding of customer business models, financial performance and competitor market share.

  • The primary objective of Business FP&A specialization within Financial Planning & Analysis Job Family is to support the Business/Function strategy and drive achievement of financial goals and objectives.

  • The role requires significant commercial partnering and integrated knowledge of the business and industry.

  • Lead the execution of long-term planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and reporting.

  • Support special business projects and initiatives and may include M&A modeling, diligence and integrations.

  • Develop strategic and operational objectives that help achieve the mission of the organization.  Implement organization strategies through the effective management of employees and resources.

  • Contextualize and communicate effectively among varied stakeholders.

  • Execute operational requirements to ensure reporting and analysis objectives of the organization.

  • Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

  • Coach team members on performance and provide inputs for performance evaluations.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.

  • 5-10 years of related experience.

Preferred

  • Applies acquired expertise and experience judgement to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.

  • Data management and data visualization skills with experience using tools such as SQL, Tableau and Power BI.

  • Experience with financial planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan and Anaplan XL.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role may be eligible for an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:

Total Base Pay Range

$109,000.00 - $165,000.00 USD Annual

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
