Let’s talk about this role
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract as Manager – Content Strategy.
In this role, you will take a member-centric and innovation led approach to drive the strategic thinking and execution of nib’s online content and organic social channels.
You will build digital strategies to solve business problems that promote user experience and make the most of available resources. You will be responsible for managing the content and experience resources within the Marketing and Digital team, providing ongoing direction and support in the creation and placement of online content ensuring quality, consistency and compliant copy remains a fundamental art of the overall user experience.
You will be responsible for the content publishing hub The Check Up and the maintenance of a content marketing strategy, which meets the needs of the business to engage members and prospects and deliver commercial outcomes.
You will be responsible for delivering digital solutions to the broader business, providing solutions to any technical challenges between the Digital and IT teams. You will proactively identify opportunities for digital enhancement and recommend solutions, working closely with the Content Platform team to deliver initiatives.
Let’s talk about you
The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in digital marketing and/or content marketing/content management (ideally in health insurance, financial services or a regulated industry).
You will have a mix of technical and creative skills and are familiar with developing and applying brand positioning frameworks and governance models. You will preferably also have experience and understanding of media buying principles to deliver impactful communications resulting in positive brand outcomes.
Furthermore we’re looking for:
Marketing or Business Degree qualification
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience in social media management
Experience in managing and developing others
Strong ability to influence stakeholders
Budget management and commercial acumen
Familiarity with UX design principles and processes
Experience working with marketing automation and personalisation frameworks
Applied understanding of SEO in content and web design
Proven experience in applying innovation or optimisation frameworks
