About the Role

With continued high growth and a healthy pipeline of transactions, the BDO Sydney Deal Advisory team are seeking to appoint a Transaction Services Manager to join the team.

We are a high performing team having won various awards such as, Leading Accounting Adviser for IPOs on the ASX in 2024, a leading Financial Due Diligence provider globally and we have completed 1,752 deals globally in 2024! 

Current opportunity

As a Manager in Transaction Services, you will lead teams to perform detailed financial analysis (i.e. financial due diligence and forecast reviews) and prepare reports/presentations for senior management and boards.

This role will also provide the opportunity to:

  • Interact directly with senior management (C-suite) of our clients
  • Identify negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring
  • Performance management, mentoring and training junior staff members
  • Be responsible for business development and pursuit activities as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
  • Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.

About you

Aside from your growth-mindset, passion for corporate finance and highly developed interpersonal skills, you'll also need the following to succeed:

  • 6 years of relevant work experience (including 4 years’ experience in a dedicated Transaction Services role)
  • Background in another leading accounting or advisory firm or investment banking
  • Strong report writing, research, modelling and financial analytical skills.
  • Delivery and project management experience
  • CA and/or CFA qualifications or similar
  • Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including, Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business or Finance.
