In this role you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with different tms teams to help create and implement category solutions that deliver value to our client across Australia and New Zealand.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
1. Market Initiatives Implementation • Lead the implementation of saving initiatives for Australia and New Zealand markets.• Support Global CM team to finalize category initiatives for local proposals.• Coordinate the communication with suppliers (local/regional/global), HFM and MB DC along the process, including markets practice/requirements sharing, process training and transition planning.• Support Global CM team to review, align and complete compliance documents required by legal team. • Identify non-compliance issues, report it to relevant CM and monitor corrective actions through resolution.• Support CMs on quality and sustainability matters• Provide regular updates to the Category Manager and flag any critical delays or risks.• Provide insights on markets' Ops core category improvement opportunities in spec, process and total cost efficiency. • Maintain oversight of pending approvals and escalate bottlenecks as necessary.
2. Supplier Relationship Management • Serve as the primary contact for administrative queries from suppliers during onboarding and contracting.• Ensure all local suppliers have proper compliance documents in place.• Conduct regular meetings with key suppliers on projects, market initiatives and supply review.
3. System maintenance and track • Lead local system setup and maintenance-ARCHI, Monday.com and MB DC part, including pricing and meeting customer monthly pricing schedule. • Support global system set up and maintenance-SIM.• Lead local suppliers' compliance documentation completion in iValua.• Support global CM on global suppliers' documentation completion in iValua.• Track all workflows to ensure timely processing and completion. • Ensure transparency and alignment by preparing clear status reports, checklists, and timelines.
4. Network engagement • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, including internal tms teams of AU/NZ team, global CM, legal, finance, HFM and etc. • Regular meetings with MB on initiatives, products supply, planning and logistics operations.• Lead the supplier community relationship development and, performance as the 1st and single-contact for suppliers to support initiatives for McD AU/NZ.
5. Market insight for Ops Category • Conduct regular customer site visits.• Monetary reviews of regulatory changes and trends in the markets (in cooperation with other functions if needed).• Summarize key insights and potential impact on the category.• Lead non-S2C category's continue investigation for business opportunities.• Conduct regular market benchmarks for non-core and low-spend items; initiate tactical actions when needed, unless planned and performed by relevant CM.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE • Excellent communication skills• Ability to work independently and as a team member• Analytical & solution-oriented skills• Flexibility and proactivity • Experience of working within McDonald's system and knowledge of restaurant operations would be preferable• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
