Manager, Regional Strategy and Go-to-Market ANZ

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

This is a critical role in pursuing the department’s mission of accelerating the growth of each business unit, by delivering best in class services, to understand, engage & excite players. Specifically, this role will focus on enhancing regional growth and market penetration through regional intelligence, nuance to pre-established global marketing strategies and a relentless focus on campaign executional excellence.

Regional Strategy and Go-to-Market:

This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive strategies and campaigns to drive market share and revenue growth across Australia & New Zealand markets for assigned titles.  The role will focus primarily on Core titles but could range from core, sports and FTP, with projects allocated based on launch cycles and team capacity.

Regional Strategy:

  • Identifying cultural events and insights to help build strategies for ANZ to maximise commercial opportunities and local relevance throughout the region

  • Working with the Director & stakeholders  to ensure all growth market opportunities are considered

Campaign Planning:

  • Collaborate with Business Unit marketing teams to ensure that global campaign strategies are compatible with regional growth objectives

  • Briefing agencies and helping develop paid and organic planning including media, local partnerships and events

  • Collaborate with PR and Influencer agencies and teams to pull a comprehensive campaign together

Executional Excellence:

  • Ensuring excellence in all aspects of the campaign delivery

  • Track timing and delivery of campaign, and escalate any concerns

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

  • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for regional initiatives and validate results

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget planning and management including PO raising

  • Contracting suppliers

  • Campaign performance reporting throughout campaigns

  • Briefing and managing agencies output
