What will your job look like?

The Manager, Strategic Rideshare Operations will provide guidance and strategic oversight of MTM Health’s Transportation Network Companies (TNC), in our managed transportation programs. This role will manage assigned provider relationships, monitor performance metrics including cost and key trends for operational guidance as part of MTM’s overall network strategy.

The Manager, Strategic Rideshare Operations will ensure adherence with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to TNC use. Develop innovative practices to support and enhance utilization of TNC in our provider network.  

The Manager, Strategic Rideshare Operations will serve as a Subject Matter Expert and make recommendations to leadership and others regarding any appropriate area of operations that would enhance service delivery and maximize use of TNC and strategic savings initiatives in accordance with contractual obligations.  

Location: This is a hybrid role if located within 40 miles of an MTM office location. 

What you’ll do:

  • Optimize internal and external technical functionality for TNC transportation solutions
  • Develop internal policy and procedures for the use of alternative services in compliance with contractual guidelines
  • Develop innovative practices to support and enhance utilization of TNC in our provider network
  • Define, implement, and revise operational policies and guidelines for the organization as needed
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with MTM’s TNC partners
  • Provide leadership and guidance in support of operations to ensure successful delivery of TNC transportation services
  • Produce presentation materials for various levels of internal and external executives and staff
  • Keep leadership informed of key performance metrices, project progress and challenges, particularly when changes in operations, resources, costs, or productivity are required
  • Create department metrics and monitor progress towards initiatives, metrics and goals
  • Conduct monthly meetings with the Director of Strategic Rideshare Operations to review current progress, savings, trip volume, quality and adherence to budget
  • Lead the streamlining of processes across the Strategic Rideshare department to increase efficiency
  • Key role in developing the TNC strategy for new market launches
  • Work directly with local stakeholders, managing and directing new implementations
  • Serve as the point person for all departments supporting TNC implementations
  • Create and implement metrics for the rideshare program in new and expanding markets
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • College degree or four years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of previous experience in transportation, logistics, rideshare, or fleet management
  • 5+ years’ experience in an Operational role
  • At least 3 years of experience working closely with senior leadership

Skills:

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to create and implement innovative changes that result in improved service delivery and cost containment
  • Must have prior experience in developing and giving presentations to all levels of personnel and group sizes
  • Must have prior experience developing and working within the limits of a departmental budget
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical and transportation terminology is preferred
  • Must have effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have a strong understanding of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to TNC and rideshare
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle a high level of sensitive and confidential matters tactfully and professionally
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in stressful situations within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency or above with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Salary Min: $65,440

Salary Max: $85,000
