We are seeking to hire a Manager for our Sustainability team. The position offers a unique opportunity to help progress the sustainability journey of a truly global Australian-listed games, entertainment, and technology company and position it to be an ASX frontrunner on sustainability reporting. Working with a range of stakeholders across the business and supported by the Sustainability team, the Manager – Sustainability Disclosures will advance and execute on Aristocrat’s Sustainability disclosures to meet both voluntary and mandatory reporting obligations.
With a proven background in sustainability or financial reporting, you will help evolve Aristocrat’s reporting approach to align with incoming mandatory reporting frameworks in Australia, Europe and other jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
Reporting to Director – Group Sustainability, you will be responsible for project managing the drafting of Aristocrat’s annual sustainability disclosures. In undertaking this responsibility, you will be required to:

Develop a comprehensive project plan, that identifies milestones, key stakeholders, and review and approval to ensure the successful delivery of sustainability disclosures.

Partner with various teams and functions across the business to gather data, manage information, prepare disclosures and ensure appropriate validation and approvals. Partner with internal Finance teams and auditors to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and audit-readiness of sustainability data and information.

Contribute to periodic double materiality assessments at Group and entity-levels, working with the broader sustainability team to identify and prioritize material ESG matters.

Monitor and maintain an in-depth understanding of the evolving sustainability reporting landscape, including frameworks, standards, and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Periodically undertake gap assessments and develop roadmaps for continuous improvement.

Partner with Investor Relations and Internal Communications teams to develop and execute effective communication plans for post-publication disclosures.

Assist in the identification and implementation of an integrated reported tool, working with Finance and Corporate Legal teams.

As part of Aristocrat’s Group Corporate Affairs function, the role will also support internal engagement, education, and communication on Aristocrat’s sustainability program and performance. This will involve partnering with functions including Investor Relations, People & Culture and Corporate Communications.

What We're Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification and 5+ years’ experience in sustainability, accounting, finance or a similar field.
- Experience developing sustainability disclosures or other public facing documents, ideally within an ASX-listed company.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks, such as IFRS, ASRS, ESRS, GRI, SEC and willingness to further enhancing understanding of the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. Exceptional project and program management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a strong aptitude for prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
