Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical professional with a strong corporate finance background and practical experience in climate risk to join our team. This role focuses on translating qualitative climate scenario analysis outputs into quantitative financial metrics to support compliance with AASB S2 reporting requirements and drive actionable insights for clients.

What Your Impact Is
The ideal candidate will be able to bridge climate science and corporate finance, converting qualitative scenario outputs into financially meaningful insights that support clients’ regulatory compliance, strategic decision-making, and climate resilience planning.
Key Responsibilities
Translate climate risk assessments (physical and transition risks) and scenario analysis into financial impact metrics, including potential asset impairment, revenue, cost, and cash flow implications.
Support clients in AASB S2 climate-related financial disclosures, ensuring alignment between climate scenarios and financial statements.
Collaborate with project teams to integrate climate insights into corporate finance models, capital expenditure planning, and strategic decision-making.
Lead client workshops and presentations that communicate complex climate risks in terms of financial exposure and opportunities.
Contribute to project management and client engagement, ensuring deliverables are timely, accurate, and actionable.
Essential Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, financial modelling, or financial planning & analysis.
Exposure to climate risk assessment, scenario analysis, and/or TCFD reporting.
Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to turn qualitative climate insights into financial metrics.
Project and client management experience, including workshop facilitation and presentation of technical insights to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Knowledge of ESG reporting.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex information into compelling, client-focused insights.
Well-developed understanding of the drivers of business response to climate change, including:
Policy and regulatory requirements (local and global)
Investor and stakeholder expectations
Technological transitions and innovation
Social license considerations
