The PositionAs a Market Access Partner, you are a strategic architect of patient access, securing the pathway for life-changing healthcare by navigating Australia's complex reimbursement systems. Your mission is to drive optimal commercial outcomes, ensuring that innovative medicines and health technologies are reimbursed with favorable clinical labels and within competitive timeframes. You lead lifecycle value management, ensuring the economic and community value of our treatments remains aligned with evolving real-world evidence.
What you will be working on:As a Market Access Partner you will:
Lead the development and execution of HTA submissions (PBAC/MSAC) to secure and maintain funding for Roche’s innovative portfolio.
Design integrated Access Strategic Plans, aligning TGA regulatory timelines with reimbursement milestones to accelerate patient reach.
Collaborate on advanced pharmaco-economic modeling and budget impact analyses to demonstrate the value of our therapies.
Manage the ongoing value of our products, responding to complex strategic challenges and evolving data throughout the product lifecycle.
Partner with Therapeutic Area Squads and Corporate and Public Affairs to influence the organisation’s long-term portfolio and access strategy.
Pioneer and experiment with sophisticated, value-based access models and innovative funding frameworks.
Participate in and influence Global Access teams, ensuring Australian requirements are integrated into global development plans.
Act as a primary point of contact for external bodies such as the Department of Health, ensuring Roche’s value proposition is clearly understood.
Lead and inspire internal chapters, including Regulatory and Corporate and Public Affairs, to deliver a cohesive access vision.
Lead the generation and synthesis of evidence required to support robust HTA submissions and respond to post-submission reviews.
Who you are:
You are a natural collaborator, an outstanding communicator and influencer who is able to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You have:
An undergraduate degree in Economics, Pharmacy, Public Health, Mathematics, Statistics, or Life Sciences.
In-depth experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, specifically focusing on clinical and economic evaluations.
Proven track record of designing and executing successful market access strategies within the Australian healthcare system.
Technical expertise in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), including economic evaluation and budget impact modeling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
A high degree of strategic agility, allowing you to navigate ambiguity and pivot in a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
A "can-do" and growth-oriented mindset, thriving in agile ways of working where experimentation and risk-taking are encouraged.
The organisational capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a sharp focus on achieving results.
This Sydney-based role involves national and limited international travel as per the business needs, along with occasional evening and weekend work to meet global timelines. Full eligibility to live and work in Australia is required to be considered for this position.
