We're seeking a detail-oriented Market Analyst to join our high-performing Research team. You'll conduct in-depth analysis of Australia’s residential property market, create investor content, and provide insights that inform marketing, strategy, and stakeholder decision-making.
📊 Responsibilities- Analyse trends in housing, population, macroeconomics, and policy.
- Assess supply/demand dynamics and perform feasibility studies for acquisitions.
- Build and manage datasets using internal and external sources.
- Develop dashboards, calculators, reports, and presentations.
- Create content for eBooks, investor guides, blogs, and educational modules.
- Present insights using charts, infographics, and data storytelling.
- Collaborate with research, marketing, sales, and education teams.
- Contribute to improving data visualisation and analysis frameworks.
- Strong communication and visual storytelling skills.
- Solid understanding of macroeconomics and urban property trends.
- Ability to simplify complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with adaptability and initiative.
- Microsoft Excel (formulas, charts, structured datasets).
- Google Workspace (especially Sheets & Slides).
- Experience in data tools like Tableau, Power BI, Stata, or R (advantageous).
- Familiarity with Australian data sources (CoreLogic, ABS, SQM Research) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 2–3 years’ experience in market/economic research, preferably in real estate.
- Proven skills in market trend analysis and forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of Australia’s housing market and macroeconomic trends.
- Confident communicator able to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
