About the Role
The Market & Data Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality client, market and pipeline intelligence that supports BDO’s growth strategy, business development priorities and client experience outcomes. Embedded within the Clients & Markets function, this role serves as the engine that turns enterprise data into the practical, commercially meaningful insights BD leaders, bid teams, key account leads and market owners rely on.
The role leverages governed, trusted datasets provided by the IT Data Platform and BI & Reporting teams, with a particular focus on CRM, pipeline, win/loss, client and market data. Rather than owning underlying platforms, the Market & Data Analyst applies a Clients & Markets lens to firmwide data, shaping analysis and reporting that informs go to market decisions, prioritisation, investment choices and performance tracking.
Working closely with IT, CRM product owners and data governance teams, the role ensures that C&M insights are consistent with enterprise data standards while remaining highly relevant, practical and decision focused. The Market & Data Analyst plays a critical role in improving data driven maturity across BD and C&M by enhancing data quality, reducing manual reporting, and helping stakeholders ask better questions of the data.
Key priorities will be within the following areas:
BI Report & Dashboard Development;
Data Modelling & Preparation;
Quality, Testing & Performance;
Governance & Compliance;
Stakeholder Engagement;
Support & Operational Processes;
Continuous Improvement.
