Your Team:
ASX Information Services is responsible for commercialising ASX's data & analytics assets. It is a high growth, high ambition business, serving the data needs of any financial market participant with an interest in Australia
Your responsibilities:
- Independently manage customer audits and perform all analysis and final reports
- Identify new use cases of data that are not covered by the existing ASX Products and Services Guide/ Licencing policies
- Interpret customer use cases and identify how they align with ASX policy
- Must be able to interpret and articulate complex data use cases both verbally and in written form
- High attention to detail and strong record keeping skills
- Develop and maintain effective and harmonious internal working relationships as well as external customer relationships and manage expectations throughout the audit process at customers
Must have
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets
- Previous experience in a data compliance role focusing on financial market data or similar IP products with a high level of customer interaction
- Must have worked in a market data role (minimum 5 years)
- Good understanding of key market data vendors, their products and technology
- Strong knowledge of vendor permissioning systems, trading applications, data feeds, APl's and cloud
- Must understand the flow of market data through the standard trade life cycle from start to end
- Must be able to perform complex analysis and checks of large data sets in Excel/ Tableau
- Ability to quickly understand different application use cases used across front, middle and back offices
- Must have a solid understanding of the following market data activities: non-display usage, real-time/ delayed display, derived data, and data external/ internal redistribution
Nice to have
- Experience in achieving revenue growth through commercial agreement/ licencing structuring
- Exposure to financial modelling and revenue forecasting practices and techniques
- Experience in analytical tools, processes and practices
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, law, accounting or a related discipline
