The Market Development Specialist will identify growth opportunities and partnerships in Australia for Nord's B2C products, analyze market trends, and advise on initiatives without direct managerial authority.
At Nord Security, we’re creating a safer cyber future.
We help people and businesses take back control of their online security, privacy, and data. From VPNs to password managers, threat intelligence to eSIMs for travel—our teams turn complex problems into solutions trusted by millions worldwide.
Life is online. In this role, you’ll help people own it.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Market Development Specialist to help us find innovative growth opportunities and unique partnerships across the Australian market for our B2C products: NordVPN, NordPass and Saily. As part of the marketing team, you'll be our Australian-based specialist responsible for exploring strategic opportunities that go beyond our existing marketing activities, as well as sharing market insights internally, and representing the company at industry and marketing events. All initiatives must demonstrate strong ROAS potential, with clear performance metrics and ROI projections.
This is a highly collaborative, supportive role, advising internal teams and bringing in new insights, without managerial authority or direct decision-making responsibilities. You’ll advise, facilitate, and proactively support initiatives driving B2C growth in our Australian market. We're seeking a self-starter who can take a conversation and turn it into real, measurable commercial success.
This role requires a good level of awareness and understanding of all events within the country, spanning politics, trends, and regulations — especially developments in tourism, aviation, and travel connectivity (eSIM/roaming).
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and initiate non-traditional growth opportunities and strategic partnerships in Australia with demonstrable ROAS potential (especially B2B2C partnerships but also local brands, community projects, niche events, sports sponsorships, strategic collaborations, etc.).
- Regularly present new growth initiatives to internal stakeholders, complete with performance projections, ROAS estimates, and implementation timelines.
- Provide internal stakeholders with Australian market insights, competitor analysis, and local trends, proactively flagging opportunities or challenges.
- Track and report on Australian market performance metrics/KPIs to help marketing teams stay informed and agile.
- Represent the brands at events and networking opportunities.
- Support product and marketing teams with local expertise, feedback, product testing, and customer insights to ensure effective localization.
- Collaborate across marketing teams, offering guidance and ideas without direct managerial responsibility.
Core Requirements
- You bring relevant marketing experience, preferably with a focus on strategic partnerships, local initiatives, community outreach, or brand collaborations.
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-ROAS marketing initiatives and partnerships with measurable business impact.
- You're metrics-driven and analytical, with experience building business cases for new opportunities based on clear performance projections.
- You're entrepreneurial and proactive; excited to pitch new ideas and build new business relationships.
- Skilled communicator, you're comfortable working independently and cross-functionally, coordinating closely with global colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently pitch new growth ideas to various stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker able to quickly interpret market performance data and provide actionable insight.
- Experience in the travel industry (e.g., OTAs, airlines, telco roaming/eSIM, travel retail, tourism boards, or travel partnerships) is an advantage.
Why join us?
- Fully remote, with occasional travel requirements: biannual visits to headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania, and regional business trips as needed.
- Opportunity to help shape strategy and accelerate growth in our largest B2C market.
- Open, energetic, and supportive international team.
- Professional growth opportunities within a fast-paced, global organization.
- The successful candidate will need to spend the first 2-3 weeks in Vilnius to onboard, meet all the teams, and gain an understanding of all processes.
- If you're a hands-on, results-focused marketing professional eager to shape impactful partnerships and help accelerate the Australian market success, we’d love to speak with you.
