6 Month Contract

In this position, you’ll be based in Sydney office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex.

We give you a world of potential
Join a global organisation where your contribution makes an impact from day one. At Computershare, we're more than a financial services company. We're a trusted partner to some of the world's leading organisations, helping millions of people manage and grow their financial interests.

This 6-month contract opportunity offers exposure to Australia's listed company landscape and broader financial markets ecosystem. Working within a high-profile team focused on client engagement and market insights, you'll gain valuable experience in stakeholder management, industry research, event delivery and commercial initiatives while building your understanding of financial services.

Whether you're a recent graduate or an early-career professional looking to deepen your knowledge of financial markets, this role provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills within a global market leader.

A role you will love
As a member of the Future Client Program (FCP) team, you'll support a range of strategic initiatives designed to strengthen client relationships, enhance market engagement and showcase Computershare's expertise across the financial services sector.

While coordinating and delivering client events, webinars and conferences are a key part of the role, this is much more than an events position. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external market participants, helping to identify opportunities, support client engagement activities, conduct market and company research, and contribute to initiatives that create value for our clients and the broader business.

The role offers a unique combination of event delivery, stakeholder engagement, market analysis and project coordination. You'll gain exposure to listed companies, investors and other key financial market participants while developing a strong understanding of the issues, trends and opportunities shaping the industry.

If you're curious, commercially minded and looking to build a career in financial services, this role offers an excellent platform to learn and grow.

What will you bring to the role?
We're looking for a proactive and intellectually curious individual who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working across a variety of projects. You will bring:

  • Experience supporting the planning and delivery of online, hybrid and in-person events.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets, corporate governance, investor relations or the broader financial services industry.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Confidence building relationships and communicating effectively with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong research and critical-thinking capabilities, with the ability to gather information, identify insights and contribute to informed decision-making.
  • Excellent attention to detail when preparing briefing materials, conducting market research and maintaining data within CRM systems and databases.
  • The ability to analyse event outcomes and prepare meaningful reports with recommendations for future improvement.
  • A customer-focused mindset and a passion for identifying solutions that create value for clients and key financial market stakeholders.
  • An interest in digital marketing, client engagement programs or market-facing initiatives would be highly regarded.

Desirable experience

  • Recent graduate or professional with proven experience in financial services, professional services, marketing, events or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Marketing, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline preferred.
  • Exposure to financial markets, listed companies, investor relations or corporate governance is advantageous, but not essential.

This role is ideal for someone seeking a career pathway within financial services who enjoys combining analytical thinking, relationship management and project coordination. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals, expand your understanding of financial markets and contribute to initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
