Job Description

  • Collaborating with research and development teams to develop specialized construction chemical products specifically designed for tunnel construction.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to customers, contractors, and internal teams regarding the use and application of construction chemical products in tunnelling projects.
  • Developing and implementing the product strategy for the tunnelling segment. This involves setting goals, defining target markets, identifying product differentiation, and positioning the company's products effectively in the tunnelling industry.
  • Managing the entire product portfolio for tunnelling applications.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends specific to the tunnelling segment.
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and support in promoting and selling tunnelling products.
  • Conducting competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competitor products in the tunnelling segment.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with industry experts, consultants, and research institutions specializing in tunnelling to stay updated with the latest advancements and trends.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, or Mining Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience within the tunnelling industry.
  • A thorough understanding of TBM’s, NATM and relevant tunnelling product knowledge.
  • Experience and knowledge of construction chemicals and sprayed concrete
  • Advanced computer and analytical skills.
