Job Description

  • Permanent full-time opportunity based at our Qantas Campus in Mascot

As a Market Pricing Analyst, you will drive revenue maximisation across a defined set of flights by setting competitive price points for all fare classes in line with our market pricing strategy. Your role involves analysing competitor activity, monitoring daily pricing movements, and recommending tactical responses to optimise revenue. You’ll develop and apply fare rules to ensure market competitiveness, evaluate fare proposals, and build business cases to support pricing recommendations. Success in this role is measured by achieving pricing KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement through data-driven insights and strategic thinking.

You’ll have:

  • Experience in a similar role with revenue management experience
  • A strong working knowledge of pricing, revenue, and commercial principles
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Confidence working with numerical data and drawing insights to inform decisions
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to work
  • Commercial acumen and an interest in revenue management, pricing strategy, or aviation policy
  • Experience or understanding of technical airline pricing and fare filing processes (preferred)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
