The APAC Marketing Analyst will serve as a strategy and analytics lead within the Asia Pacific region of ResMed’s Marketing Analytics team.  As we continue an exciting evolution for Marketing, you will help to shape team strategy, influencing best direction for Analytics for the coming years while partnering closely with key functional teams to implement a new operating model.   

Partnering with NA/EMEA peers, you will balance hands-on delivery with project leadership/ownership, improving data accessibility through automated dashboards/reporting and turning data into actionable insights that enhance teams’ decision-making. You will navigate ResMed’s complex data environment, working with GTS (IT/Engineering), Legal, and Privacy, to curate, understand, and socialize new data sets for the APAC region, enhancing knowledge of customer behavior in the APAC region, and influencing business decisions across your peers and leadership. 

The Marketing Analytics Team supports all global commercial teams within Marketing, which include Consumer and Provider Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand, and eCommerce and collaborates closely with teams such as Sales, MarTech, Customer Insights, Finance, Product, and IT. 


Responsibilities
 
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to define data needs and translate them into actionable insights

  • Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives and consulting with business partners

  • Interpret data using analytical skills to identify risks, areas for improvement and opportunities

  • Proactively engage across teams to identify root cause/trends around product adoption/churn issues, revenue shifts and/marketing impact

  • Collaborate with data owners to support data governance programs and process

  • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of key data insights with strong business acumen to communicate effectively with business leaders across the organization

  • Establish a core capability and function that can work across various business groups, balancing ongoing and ad-hoc requests for information and insights with strategic initiatives

  • Expand discovery work around capturing global data in [currently] lesser available markets, working with other Analytics leads, GTS, and MarTech teams

  • Represent Marketing Analytics in key-initiative cross-functional teams

  • Influence process improvement for data representation and monitoring, data information-sharing, and project intake and prioritization, with the ability to push past roadblocks to find innovative solutions

  • Facilitate data accessibility and data interpretation for key non-analytics teams

  • Enable the acceleration toward digital transformation and E2E measurement of integrated marketing experiences, focusing on improving the ability to ‘test, iterate, and scale’ to extract the most value out of campaigns

 

 

Qualifications and Experience
 
  • 5+ years working in data analytics or business intelligence management role

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in database design, SQL and data visualization tools

  • Extensive experience in identifying business needs, distilling large data sets into actionable insights that drive business value

  • Mastery in data visualization across business data sets. Advanced experience building with BI Solutions (Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Strong organization and backlog-triage skills in a dynamic, cross-functional environment

  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams with the capacity to lead projects and people 

  • Experience with stakeholder management and prioritization of request

  • Process orientation with great documentation skill

  • Experience working with IT and other teams to manage data capture from other source systems

  • Expert with SQL

  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake and dbt (or similar)

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Data Studio

  • Expert skills with Excel and PowerPoint

 

Preferred
 
  • Sales/Marketing/Sales/Product data analysis experience a plus

  • Comfort pulling data from external sources using APIs

  • Experience working within HubSpot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Experience working with brand and creative teams to co-develop marketing campaigns for deployment across multiple channels

  • Experience with Shopify, Asana, Miro, JIRA, Confluence, and statistical modelling tools.  

  • Experience working across the APAC environment (Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, India, Southeast Asian, Korea)
