The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Marketing & Communications professional to join the Business Marketing team as a Marketing & Communications Specialist. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, project work, and supporting a high performing marketing team with content marketing, social media, and campaign management for both our QBE and Elders Insurance brands.

Your new role

This is a new national role, supporting the QBE Business Marketing team

A day in the role might look a bit like this;

  • Work with business stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns aligned to strategy.
  • Design, plan and implement internal and external communications
  • Write, edit and develop content for multiple channels across our audience groups to drive engagement
  • Lead the development and implementation of communication plans and key messages for business or segment initiatives and projects, working with both the QBE and Elders Insurance teams
  • Provide support and advice to our business stakeholders and franchise network to drive effective communications and marketing strategies and solutions.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have recent experience in a corporate marketing or communications role, working with multiple stakeholders in the financial services or B2B sector. You will also have;

  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful marketing initiatives
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write and maintain different communication channels
  • Experience working within a highly regulated financial services (or similar) industry
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with multiple senior stakeholders in an effective team environment
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities, taking initiative to proactively deliver effective communications solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred
