The Opportunity
This is a >12‑month fixed‑term contract covering parental leave, commencing May 2026 and supporting the delivery of retail marketing across Dexus’s Sydney CBD retail portfolio.
As a Marketing Executive, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and on‑site property management teams to plan and deliver retail marketing activity across a portfolio of premium CBD assets,
How you will make an impact
- Support the delivery of retail marketing across a portfolio of Sydney CBD retail assets
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing annual marketing plans, including research, analysis and performance insights for each asset.
- Support the delivery of strategic retail campaigns to drive traffic, sales and brand awareness, with a focus on optimising return on investment.
- Design and execute retail events and activations that enhance customer experience across the CBD precincts.
- Work collaboratively across assets to deliver shared initiatives that drive economies of scale and encourage visitation and spend.
- Manage day‑to‑day relationships with retailers, including sales collection and reporting, coordination of retailer promotions and campaign communications.
- Support digital marketing activity, working with agencies across social channels and maintaining website content updates.
- Contribute to monthly sales and foot traffic reporting.
- Manage marketing budgets for allocated assets and support the budgeting and wash‑up process.
- Support leasing collateral updates, including hoardings for new retail openings and vacant tenancies.
- Own risk and compliance processes in line with Dexus requirements and support audit processes.
- Collaborate with centralised Retail and Group Marketing teams to leverage shared agency partners, platforms and efficiencies.
About You
You are a proactive, well‑organised marketing professional who enjoys working close to delivery across multiple stakeholders, assets and priorities. You bring a customer‑focused mindset and are motivated by seeing campaigns, events and digital activity translate into strong retail outcomes.
We’re open to potential as much as experience — this role would suit someone ready to stretch, build confidence across a premium portfolio and take the next step in their marketing career.
You will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline.
- Experience or strong interest in retail or property marketing environments.
- Experience working with external agencies (advertising, marketing, PR or digital).
- Strong interest and capability in digital marketing, content and social channels.
- An eye for creative and design excellence within brand guidelines.
- Strong stakeholder management, written communication and organisational skills.
- A customer‑focused, results‑driven approach with strong attention to detail.
