Job Description

Nine is looking for a driven Marketing Lead to champion and promote our cutting-edge self-serve advertising platform, Nine Ad Manager, empowering businesses of all sizes to advertise across our leading media assets!

The Nine Ad Manager team sits within the Sales organisation of Nine. The Nine Ad Manager team is responsible for driving Nine’s advertising revenue growth from the SMB sector by building, continuously enhancing, promoting and overseeing the go-to-market strategy of its self-serve ad platform that allows SMBs to place digital advertising across Nine’s media properties. 

Reporting to the Director, Nine Ad Manager, the role is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to generate demand, onboard new customers and drive SMB adoption of the ad platform. You will produce and implement campaigns using Nine’s owned & operated assets and external media channels together with reengagement and adoption strategies to acquire new customers and drive conversions.
 

Day to day you will:

  • Manage a marketing budget and develop effective strategies to maximise return on investment, achieving revenue targets for advertising bookings through the platform
  • Build awareness of the Nine Ad Manager platform, drive consideration amongst the target audience and grow Nine’s share of the SMB advertising market
  • Oversee branding of the platform to produce content providing information on why to advertise with Nine, helpful resources for getting started, audience information and customer success stories, amongst other things
  • Partner with Nine’s creative teams and agencies to produce ads promoting Nine’s Nine Ad Manager that will be used for on-network and off-network advertising campaigns
  • Plan and execute off-network performance campaigns across Meta, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Google etc. to acquire new leads and customers
  • Partner with the  Director, Nine Ad Manager, to ensure Nine has a presence at relevant seminars, conferences and events, and promote Nine’s Nine Ad Manager through securing keynote speaking opportunities and/or event activations or sponsorships
  • Gather data from demand generation activities, evaluate the impact of strategies, produce reports on results and evolve promotional strategies to continuously drive improved ROI
     

Qualifications

This is an important role for executing Nine's commercial strategy to  grow and expand into the SMB advertising market and grow digital advertising revenue. You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others.

What you'll bring:

  • Marketing qualified with relevant marketing expertise
  • Proven hands on  ability to develop and execute campaigns across digital performance media including search, social and YouTube
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Use of Intercom would be advantageous
