Your Team:

The ASX Marketing and Brand team strives to deliver marketing with impact. We do this through engaging, customer-centred initiatives and campaigns that tell the ASX brand story and achieves measurable results. Our key objectives are to elevate the ASX brand, support ASX’s growth initiatives, focus on customer needs, and opitimise and scale through continuous improvement and marketing innovation. As part of the Customer and Product team within the Customer division – the multi-skilled ASX Marketing and Brand function is a high-performing team that is integral to supporting ASX’s lines of business, product and enterprise functions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop, own and execute the annual marketing plan targeting retail audiences and their intermediaries across equities, derivatives, investment products and all other retail products and touchpoints.

  • Create and execute content strategies that resonate with brokers, adviser and investors at all levels, from beginner through to sophisticated.

  • Manage and guide the production of high-quality, compliant content including newsletters, podcasts, webinars, videos and thought leadership.

  • Build strong relationships with brokers, advisers and industry association and work closely with business partners to understand market trends, opportunities and market needs.

  • Deliver multi-channel campaigns and sponsorships to educate, inform and engage target audiences.

  • Manage event thematics and end-to-end event logistics ensuring professional delivery, strong participation and continuous improvement.

  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, events and initiatives – use insights to improve effectiveness and inform future initiatives.

  • Ensure that all marketing initiatives meets high standards for accuracy and is aligned with regulatory requirements and brand voice.

  • Work closely with business partners and marketing service functions to draft comprehensive briefs, co-ordinate deliverables and ensure that all SLAs are adhered to and work is approved and signed off.

  • Manage third party suppliers, ensuring that contracts are in place and the deliverables are provided on time and to a high standard.

  • Ensure that deadlines are met and marketing budgets are closely managed and tracked while maintaining a high bar for quality.

Your experience
Must have:

  • 5 Years+ experience in B2B and B2B2C marketing, preferably within wealth management or investment markets.

  • T-shaped marketer, with a deep multi-channel marketing skillset and hand-on experience with email marketing, website content, social media platforms and event marketing.

  • Direct experience working with brokers, advisers or distribution partners highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products – RG146 compliance highly desirable.

  • Exceptional content development and editorial skills with proven ability to guide editorial themes and simplify complex financial concepts.

  • Excellent project and time management skills with demonstrated ability deliver integrated campaigns and events.

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.

  • Experience in content concept development and working with agency partners, freelance content producers and editors.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight and evolving timeframes.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements in marketing quality and processes
