Position Overview

We’re growing Millie Moon in the US and looking for a Marketing Manager to lead some of the brand’s biggest growth levers: Target and around 30 more US retailers, licensing, training pants, brand fame moments and expecting mums. You’ll own the plan, the budget and the results, and you’ll wake up every day asking one question: how do we grow Millie Moon in the US? You’re consumer-obsessed, commercially sharp and at your best when you’re turning real parent insight into sell-through.

About ZURU

ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we’re still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we’ve become the world’s second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we’re 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we’re only getting started.

Position Impact

This is a seat with real ownership. You’ll be the marketing lead Target knows and trusts, take what works there and scale it across a growing network of US retailers, and win parents before their baby even arrives. You’ll set the audience strategy, own the budget and connect every dollar to brand and business outcomes, working side by side with Sales, Commercial, Product, Design, Content and Digital. You’ll lead and grow a team of your own, build the playbooks the US business runs on, and shape how a fast-growing brand wins with American parents.

How you’ll help us grow

  • Own Millie Moon marketing at Target: annual plan, range reviews, business reviews and in-store activation

  • Partner with Sales and Digital on Roundel retail media and trade activity, and recap results back to Target

  • Grow distribution, visibility and sell-through across around 30 more US retailers with scalable playbooks

  • Grow our licensed range and training pants: always-on content, retail activation and fan moments that drive trial and repeat

  • Win expecting mums before baby arrives, through baby registries, prenatal and parenting apps, hospitals and baby shows

  • Plan and deliver brand fame moments that get US parents talking about Millie Moon

  • Write insight-led briefs for creative, content, media and PR partners, then hold the work to account

  • Own the budget: make the investment calls, link activity to sell-through and keep testing to get better

  • Lead and coach your team, remove blockers and build the processes that help the US business scale

What Helps You Win Here

  • 5+ years in brand marketing, including 2+ years as a Marketing Manager in FMCG, baby, personal care or consumer goods

  • A track record of growing brands with major retailers: retail media, in-store activation and measurable commercial results after launch

  • Strong consumer insight skills: you commission research, segment audiences and sharpen positioning, not just read the data

  • Commercial fluency: you own budgets, make investment recommendations and partner confidently with Sales, Finance and retailers

  • Experience leading and coaching people: you set clear expectations and build high-performing teams

Who thrives at ZURU

This isn’t a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you’ll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We’re a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we work

Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we’re office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it’s where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
