About the Role

Overview

The Marketing Manager ANZ will work closely with the Director of APAC Marketing and client-facing teams across the region to plan and execute marketing campaigns that drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will also collaborate with colleagues across the Global Marketing function to ensure alignment and consistency. The primary focus will be on developing and delivering marketing initiatives that support both the institutional and wealth businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

This role is part of a global marketing function with locations in Boston, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo that includes teams dedicated to content creation (writing/editing/proofreading), content management (readership optimization and content tagging), design (digital and print), marketing operations and project management, digital marketing, and events.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with business stakeholders in Australia and colleagues across the global and regional marketing teams to adapt, localize, and execute marketing strategies, campaigns, content, communications and best practices, ensuring alignment with business priorities and relevance for the Australian market.

  • Support the business in various marketing initiatives including event planning, campaign execution, content and marketing material production, creative production, digital and social marketing

  • Partner with other experts within the marketing team and external vendor (design, editorial, events, project management) on all relevant aspects of marketing deliverables and programs

  • Coordinate and manage production of marketing related content

  • Partner with marketing compliance to review and ensure all marketing activities and materials are in line with local requirements

  • Perform additional marketing duties (e.g. materials update & operational support) as assigned to support the marketing team and enhance overall productivity.

Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in asset management marketing within the financial industry, In addition, the candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Experience in asset management marketing in particular understanding of the intermediary market and wealth management channel

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to interact effectively and professionally with creative teams, senior executives, internal business partners, external clients and external vendors

  • Have a strong working knowledge of the local compliance and regulatory landscape

  • Strong communication skills in English– verbal and written.

  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment; exhibit grace under pressure

  • Comfortable learning new systems and working on creative solutions

  • Team player orientation, a positive attitude and terrific work ethic

  • Previous experience in workflow, creative production and digital marketing tool a plus
