We are looking for a Marketing Strategy and Paid Media Senior Manager. This role works across teams and agencies to ensure marketing strategy and paid media decisions are based on clear insights, aligned to priorities and communicated effectively across the business. It also ensures media plans align with campaign readiness, asset availability and timing.
What you’ll doInform marketing investment planningConsolidate business priorities, market context and performance insights to support marketing strategy and investment planning.
Partner with the Head of Marketing to help inform marketing budget allocation across initiatives and campaigns.
Maintain clear GTM planning artefacts and investment views that provide portfolio-level visibility across initiatives and campaigns.
Work with the Head of Marketing on paid media budget allocation across initiatives and campaigns.
Partner with initiative and project leads to align marketing strategy and media investment with campaign priorities and growth opportunities.
Monitor budget pacing and portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to optimise or reallocate investment during the year.
Team leadership
Lead and coordinate a team of initiative leads, paid media and partnership specialists responsible for delivering the GTM of key business priorities.
Provide guidance on marketing investment allocation and ensure teams remain aligned to priorities, timelines and budget parameters.
Support leadership coordination of the Integrated Agency Team to ensure alignment on marketing priorities, investment frameworks and optimisation opportunities.
Work collaboratively with agency partners and internal teams to continuously improve how media investment is planned and deployed.
Oversee paid media budget governance, including forecasting, pacing and reporting.
Partner with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders on budget tracking, scenario modelling and reconciliation.
Manage marketing commercial processes, including PO creation and tracking, vendor onboarding and procurement workflows.
Support the marketing measurement agenda, including brand health tracking (BHCT), MMM rollout and campaign effectiveness studies.
Consolidate insights and learning to inform future marketing investment decisions.
10+ years’ experience in media strategy, marketing investment planning, GTM planning or marketing operations within scaled consumer or digital businesses.
Demonstrated experience managing paid media budgets and investment frameworks.
Strong experience working with media agencies and multi-agency ecosystems.
Understanding of marketing investment planning, including reach and frequency planning, share of voice and optimisation approaches.
Experience working with marketing measurement frameworks such as MMM, brand tracking and campaign reporting.
Familiarity with marketing commercial operations, including procurement processes, MSAs/SOWs and vendor management.
Experience engaging and influencing across local, regional and global stakeholders and teams, including communicating marketing investment priorities outside the marketing organisation.
Experience working across integrated campaign environments where creative assets, production timelines and media investment must align for successful campaign launches.
An adaptable and agile approach, with openness to different perspectives and a collaborative mindset that supports strong cross-team partnerships.
