About Us

Dyson is a global technology enterprise. We solve the problems others choose to ignore, with surprising new inventions that defy convention and simply work better. We’re growing fast and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations and more people.

About the Role

The Marketplace & New Business Manager will accelerate Dyson’s growth by delivering commercial targets across our ANZ Marketplaces and identifying, evaluating, and executing new direct eCommerce business opportunities. This dual-focus role blends rigorous eCommerce trading (daily execution, P&L accountability) with a forward-looking innovation mandate. You will work cross-functionally to maximise Marketplace opportunities and explore new ways to evolve Dyson Direct eCommerce while consistently delivering a premium customer experience.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-

  • Deliver volume, revenue, and margin targets for all ANZ Marketplaces; proactively communicate progress, risks, and opportunities

  • Own the end-to-end trading cycle: lead stock management, pricing execution, promotional builds, content and offer optimisation

  • Build and maintain strong external relationships – own the partnership strategy, lead cadence meetings and joint business plans

  • Drive operational excellence from order to cash, collaborating cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, and Customer Care

  • Champion Dyson-brand execution standards, ensuring a frictionless and premium customer journey from discovery to fulfillment

  • Negotiate terms and commercial agreements to get the best outcomes for Dyson

  • Work closely with the Dyson Group Marketplace team and Global counterparts to share learnings and glean best practice

  • Seek and assess new business opportunities to grow Direct eCommerce. Stay across the evolving landscape and seek to innovate our experience within

  • Identify and drive new marketplace and alternative eCommerce channel opportunities, leading pilots from business case through go live

About You

To be successful in this role you will be passionate about digital retail customer experience and wanting to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You have the ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for the marketplace channel and are well organised with proficient time management skills and ability to prioritise and multitask with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Previous skills & experience:-

  • Solid experience in account management (online marketplace or eCommerce focus preferred)

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with track record of P&L contribution, growth delivery, and negotiation success

  • Proven analytical skills; strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel, BI tools and actionable trading insights

  • Hands-on experience building activation plans and managing marketing investment

  • Strong project management and organisational skills; thrive amidst shifting priorities and deadlines

  • Proven negotiation and closing skills

  • Strong communication both written and verbal

Benefits

Outside of a competitive salary, our team members receive generous product discounts, additional paid annual leave, a generous, above market parental leave scheme and ongoing learning and development opportunities.

At Dyson, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We value you bringing yourself to work and we want to deliver an employee experience that matches the quality we give to our customers.

We have a vibrant and diverse culture that is geared towards recognition and realising ambition. You'll have regular social activities to take part in and you'll work with a fantastic team of people every day.
