As a Mechatronics Engineering Intern, you'll engage in CNC machining, welding fabrication, and creating and interpreting 3D and 2D engineering drawings using Solidworks. You will also gain hands-on experience with metrology equipment such as CMM.

Tasks:
- CNC machining: application, limitations, method of programming, machining from a 3D model.
- Fabrication: various welding methods, minimisation of heat distortion, preparation for welding.
- The creation of 3D models to produce 2D drawings using Solidworks
- Fabrication drawings: understanding the various welding symbols, understand of fabrication tolerances, requirement of stress relieving
- Machining drawings: the application of machining and geometrical tolerances symbols
- Gain experience using metrology equipment such as CMM – Co-ordinate Measuring Machine
