Job Description

We are seeking a Microsoft AI Business Services Sales Specialist to join our Microsoft Business Unit in Australia, with a strong focus on ERP-led transformation, particularly Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This is a client-facing role for a transformation-minded specialist who understands that ERP is no longer just about finance and operations—it is the digital backbone for intelligent, AI-enabled organisations. You will work closely with clients, Account Executives, Microsoft, and delivery teams to shape and drive business transformation agendas that combine ERP modernisation, process optimisation, and applied AI.

This role goes beyond solution selling. It is about helping organisations reimagine how they operate—using Business Central, the Power Platform, and Microsoft Copilot capabilities to unlock insight, automation, and scalable growth.

Your Impact

In this role, you will play a key part in driving ERP-centric transformation outcomes across mid-market and enterprise customers. You will originate and shape opportunities where Business Central acts as the foundation for broader digital transformation—integrating finance, supply chain, projects, and operations with data, automation, and AI-driven insights.

You will work as a trusted advisor to senior business and finance leaders, helping them connect strategic objectives to practical transformation roadmaps. This includes identifying where AI, analytics, and low-code automation can materially improve decision-making, productivity, and customer outcomes—while ensuring ERP remains robust, compliant, and scalable.

You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to co-own account strategies, lead ERP and AI-focused sales motions, and build a strong, high-quality pipeline aligned to Microsoft and NCS growth priorities. From early discovery through to deal closure, you will shape value propositions, contribute to win strategies, and guide customers toward outcomes that deliver measurable business value.

You will also represent NCS within the Microsoft ecosystem, building strong relationships with Microsoft sellers and specialists, and leveraging co-sell, funding, and GTM programs to accelerate customer success.

Qualifications

  • Strategic ERP Sales & Transformation: Proven track record in leading high-value sales cycles centered on Dynamics 365 Business Central, moving beyond functional features to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation.

  • AI & Copilot Integration: Practical experience in articulating the value of Microsoft Copilot and Applied AI within an ERP context, specifically how automation and intelligent insights optimize finance, supply chain, and operations.

  • Advisory-Level Engagement: Extensive experience acting as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, and senior business leaders, with the ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into tangible business outcomes and ROI.

  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Demonstrated success working within the Microsoft Partner ecosystem, specifically navigating co-sell motions, incentive programs, and building deep relationships with Microsoft field sellers.

  • Unified Microsoft Stack Knowledge: A strong conceptual understanding of how Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, and Automate) and Azure Data services wrap around Business Central to create a modern "intelligent" organization.

  • Value-Based Solutioning: Experience in "origination-led" sales—shaping opportunities from early-stage discovery and workshops through to complex RFP responses and deal closure.

  • Collaborative Account Strategy: Ability to partner effectively with Account Executives and Delivery Teams to co-develop long-term account plans that align with both client goals and internal growth priorities.

  • Mid-Market & Enterprise Expertise: Deep understanding of the Australian market landscape, specifically the challenges faced by mid-market and enterprise organizations during legacy ERP migrations.
