BAE Systems is looking for a mid-level Systems Engineer to support sustainment and FMS activities (installation, deployment, troubleshooting, test, documentation, training, and help desk) of the Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT) application. The qualified candidate will be working on a multi-disciplinary team, in an agile, rapid development environment to integrate, deploy, and support complex SW/HW based systems. Tasks may include identifying, documenting, and tracking requirements; performing software/system integration, regression, verification, and validation testing; installing on site; deploying on cloud, troubleshooting, and/or training. Position will require business travel to customer locations in support of product demonstrations, software installation, system testing and training events.
The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with platforms and mission applications for intelligence and defense customers with domain emphasis on Geospatial Intelligence, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and Targeting Systems.
This position is contingent on contract award.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline (or equivalent experience), and 6+ year(s) related experience
- US Citizenship and ability to be granted a security clearance by the Federal Government
- Ability to perform requirements identification, analysis, documentation, and tracking
- Ability to apply iterative/agile development techniques that are appropriate to the environment
- Experience with software installation and/or software cloud deployment
- Ability to perform various levels of testing activities (creating/updating test documentation, performing unit/smoke, integration, and/or regression test)
- Experience and understanding of the Targeting Lifecycle
- Experience with training groups of up to 20
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment (e.g., open seating arrangement)
- DoD 8570 Certification (e.g., Security + or other)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of requirement management tools: JIRA
- Knowledge of configuration management tools: BitBucket, Subversion, Git
- Knowledge of various scripting languages (e.g., shell, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
- Experience setting-up and running test tools (e.g., Cypress, etc.)
- Knowledge of MBSE Modeling
- Familiarity with JTT
- Interface and analyze customer needs in order to derive requirements, CONOPS, and design (UX/UI)
- Ability to use statistical analysis methods and tools
