About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially driven Mid-Market Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of customers across the mid-market segment. You’ll act as the primary point of contact, managing the full sales cycle—from identifying new opportunities through to closing deals and driving long-term customer value.

This is a highly consultative role where success comes from understanding customer challenges and positioning solutions that deliver measurable impact. If you bring a technical or engineering background and enjoy translating complex solutions into business value, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own and grow your accounts

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of mid-market customers (typically $100M–$1B revenue range)
  • Drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to maximise account value
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across technical, business, and executive levels

Drive new business

  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities across your territory
  • Run discovery sessions and deliver compelling product demonstrations
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets

Deliver a great customer experience

  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Ensure successful onboarding and adoption of solutions
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and long-term retention

Collaborate and lead

  • Work within a virtual account team to deliver the best outcomes for customers
  • Share insights, mentor peers, and contribute to team success
What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Proven success in B2B sales (3+ years), ideally in SaaS, analytics, or technology
  • Track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing mid-market or complex accounts

Skills & capabilities

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
  • Confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Background

  • Degree in Engineering, STEM, or a related technical field is highly desirable
  • Experience in analytics, data, or business intelligence solutions is a plus
Why Join Us?
  • High-impact role with ownership of a defined territory
  • Opportunity to work with innovative, data-driven solutions
  • Collaborative, supportive sales environment
  • Clear career progression pathways
Additional Information
  • Hybrid working model based in Sydney
  • Occasional travel (approximately 20–35%) may be required for customer meetings
