- Design, develop, and ship Android features using Kotlin; write clean, test‑driven code.
- Optimize app performance (startup time, memory usage, network efficiency) and ensure high reliability through crash monitoring and robust error handling.
- Collaborate with Jira web, backend, and data teams to keep feature parity and consistent behavior across platforms.
- Implement and expand AI‑powered functionalities (e.g., smart issue suggestions, automated task classification, predictive analytics) within the Android app.
- Maintain high test coverage with unit, integration, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso); conduct code reviews and mentor peers.
- Influence Android architecture.
- Engage with customers via support tickets, community forums, and beta programs to prioritize work.
- Translate UX/UI designs into intuitive, accessible Android interfaces; run usability tests and iterate.
- Keep technical documentation, design docs, and onboarding guides up‑to‑date; share knowledge through talks or Confluence pages.
- 3+ years of native Android development with Kotlin; experience with iOS is a plus but not required.
- Strong grasp of Android architecture patterns, REST/GraphQL APIs, offline sync, and push notifications.
- Proficient with CI/CD for Android and automated testing pipelines.
- Skilled in unit and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso).
- Excellent collaboration and communication in a distributed, cross‑functional environment.
