About the role:
At hipages Group, we’re transforming how Australians connect with trusted tradies. As the country’s #1 digital platform for home improvement, we help tradies grow their businesses and in turn, help Australians build better homes and better lives. Now, we’re expanding our Creative Services team and looking for a Motion & Graphic Designer who’s ready to make an impact through bold, engaging and purposeful design.
You’ll be the driving force behind hipages’ creative output, balancing motion graphics and static visual design to craft high-quality assets that inspire action and tell our story across social, digital, print, and internal channels.

How you will add value:
- Create & animate: Develop high-quality static graphic assets (print, digital ads, social and web elements) and dynamic motion graphics (video, animation, explainers) that serve diverse campaign objectives.
 - Design with impact: Own the design, layout, and production of key collateral, ensuring all static and motion work aligns with the project brief and visual hierarchy best practices.
 - Collaborate & innovate: Work closely with the Creative Services & Design Lead and cross-functional teams, including Brand, Content, Customer, Product and Sales, to push creative boundaries.
 - Champion the brand: Maintain and evolve hipages’ visual identity across all projects, ensuring consistency and excellence in every channel.
 - Manage & deliver: Juggle multiple projects, keeping timelines tight and quality high, from brief to final execution.
 
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in motion and graphic design (agency or in-house).
 - Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
 - A killer portfolio and showreel showcasing graphic and motion design, video editing and cross-platform creative work.
 - Deep understanding of all channels, including print, social, video formats, codecs and optimisation for digital platforms.
 - Eye for detail, love for design craft, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team.
 
Desirable:
- Experience in a tech, marketplace or high-growth brand.
 - Knowledge of DCO principles or basic UX/UI familiarity.
 - 3D animation skills.
