Job Description

Join our dynamic team to drive multi-platform engagement by creating and distributing high-quality video content that showcases Nine’s premier News and Current Affairs programming. You will support the execution of innovative distribution strategies to expand our off-network reach and connect with diverse audiences across the digital landscape.

Day to day you will:

  • Produce, edit, and distribute engaging video content across all digital platforms.
  • Maintain brand tone of voice and high editorial standards while managing platform communication and moderation.
  • Collaborate with broader teams to create high-quality, engaging, shareable original content.
  • Utilise innovative storytelling techniques to reach and grow new audiences.
  • Support the Video Content team in the development of original digital projects across short, mid, and long-form formats.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Prior experience in news and current affairs content production and distribution is preferred.
  • Experience working in a newsroom or a similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in producing and editing professional video content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of vertical formats including TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a lateral approach to reaching new audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work with multiple internal teams.
