It requires managing multiple networks of Dyson people and overseeing many different retail areas – from in store fixtures to online activation. It takes ownership, courage and tough negotiations. About the RoleThe National Account Executive is responsible for supporting the National Account Manager in managing a portfolio of National Accounts in all areas of account management and ensuring that the Dyson brand continues to grow in partnership with our key retailers.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Support the National Account Manager to drive executional excellence of strategy, development, and day-to-day management of the retailer partnership
Provide analysis and Insights to optimise execution plan with Customer
Create, develop, and implement solutions to capture new Sales opportunities
Leverage Sales data to provide an accurate on-going forecast, monitoring baseline run rates as well as promotional sales
Support NAM to track Weekly orders, reviewing Sales vs. Forecast
Liaise with Commercial and Supply planning teams to ensure Stock availability to deliver forecasts
Agree forecasts and align Sell-In plan with account’s logistics / merchandising contacts
Assist the NAM in preparing and delivering high quality presentations (sales data, GFK data, customer insights)
Administer all areas of the promotional planning cycle including completion of ANZ sales promotional planner
Financial accuracy and tracking of promotional accruals ensuring spend in line with Budget.
Ensure that purchase orders are completed and approved for all promotional spend
Assist the NAM in devising the optimum promotional plan for the account
Financial analysis of the account
Work collaboratively with the Field Sales teams to plan the in-store execution of account plans
Analyse sales reports generated and provide insights on account performance
Ensure out of stocks and missed sales opportunities are minimised through Stock Optimisation
To be successful in this role you will bring a high level of communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to ever changing business needs. You think outside the box, have strong business acumen and the ability to manage your own workload.
Previous skills & experience:-
Previous experience in account management
Experience in Relationship Management
Successfully worked with and contributed to a high performing sales team
Excellent business presentation skills and high attention to detail
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
Advanced Microsoft suite
