The National Account Manager, Distributor Partners main priority is developing annual business plans, driving Red Bull initiatives, and tracking KPIs through a set group of Distribution Partners.

Job Description

RED BULL'S STRATEGY, MERCHANDISING STANDARDS, AND KEY ACCOUNT PROGRAMS

  • Coordinate meetings with Distributor Partner's (DPs) to explain and implement Red Bull business strategies and initiatives
  • Develop communication processes to ensure proper alignment and understanding of strategies and goals
  •  Implement systems to track and benchmark DPs against key initiatives/goals
  • Ensures DPs fully understand and execute Red Bull merchandising standards
  • Assist in developing sales books and training to guarantee sales reps clearly understand merchandising standards (i.e. product flow, SKU priorities by channel, display merchandising, pricing, etc.)
  • Create a structured communication schedule to discuss upcoming and ongoing Key Account Programs
  • Implement process for late notice or emergency programs to ensure rapid communication and execution
  • Ensure DPs implement tracking system to guage execution effectiveness

 

DEVELOP & EXECUTE BUSINESS PLAN

  • Collaborate with DPs to develop annual business plans, addressing organisational needs, distribution strategies, sales volume, execution goals, investments, and key KPIs
  • Secure agreement on critical elements and implement a monthly scorecard to track progress, including distribution growth by month/channel and sales forecasts by month/channel
  • Maintain regular communication with DP senior management to ensure alignment and shared objectives
  • Manage POS allocation for distributors by coordinating updates with business unit office staff and keeping DPs informed about new POS items, allocation details, and timelines
  • Develop the organisation model with DPs and secure commitment to a personnel structure that supports the business plan

 

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of all relevant Red Bull systems
  • Develops knowledge of key account systems and how they relate to DPs
  • Leverages out-of-stock analysis to ensure effective merchandising
  • Oversees DP data submission to Red Bull systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

 

MISCELLANEOUS RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Communicate and uphold guidelines regarding RB’s inventory policy
  • Provide continuous feedback on DP performance in relation to objectives and KPIs
  • Builds expertise in product and distributor competition in respective area
  • Collaborates regularly with BU sales and marketing teams to align BU goals with the DP

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior sales experience in the consumer goods industry (preferably beverages), with local distributor and supplier experience
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate distribution partners
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience in guiding field sales teams and implementing successful sales and trade marketing strategies
