As National Account Manager - eCommerce you will play a pivotal role in the growth of the channel owning the development and execution of Red Bull Australia’s National eCommerce strategy, establishing new business partnerships through B2B and third-party delivery services, as well as assist in managing key accounts to deliver sales, volume, and perfect online store targets.

Job Description

ACCELERATE ONLINE SALES GROWTH

• Accelerate growth with aggregators and build the B2B offering through key distributor partners.

• Manage eComm execution across key accounts (Amazon, Coles, Woolworths)

• Identify opportunities to partner, activate, share expertise, and drive mutual growth – implementing joint business plans with top customers

• Adopt a test-and-learn approach, leveraging data to make informed decisions and pivot effectively

• Drive Red Bull availability by driving distribution in existing customers and driving availability in new marketplaces

 

EXECUTION OF STRATEGIC PROGRAMS AND TRADE INVESTMENT DELIVERY

• Deliver the monthly business plan financial sales volume in serving units across all key accounts

• Create and execute promotional programs for new business accounts

• Manage retail media delivering insight led 360-degree execution by partnering with account teams

• Provide recommendations to maximise sales effectiveness and ROI from customer activities

• Keep within approved trade Investment budgets for permanent discounts, temporary price reduction and joint advertising targets

 

DEVELOP AND EXECUTE NATIONAL ECOMMERCE ACCOUNT PLANS, THROUGH RED BULL ONLINE SUCCESS MEASURE

• Work cross functionally on further improving and implementing Red Bull’s online merchandising standards

• Increase Red Bull's online market share through the delivery of a strong joint business plan and increased sales

• Negotiate trade plans to display an omni channel mindset through key activations

 

S&OP

• Understand and adhere to the company S&OP process and metrics, with mandatory participation and engagement in all meetings

• Provide timely and accurate promotional forecasts, both with the customer, and support internal demand planning process

• Liaise with finance in providing timely and accurate permanent discounts, temporary price reduction and joint advertising accruals

• Be responsible for processing claims in the agreed timelines and all financial impacts in relation to responsible accounts

• Manage the monthly trade spend reconciliation process

 

CROSS FUNCTIONAL ENGAGEMENT

• Ensure Red Bull looks like number one by working cross functionally with Brand Marketing, NAM’s and Category Development team to execute the ecommerce strategy through key customer moments

• Be the champion of online execution, working closely with trade marketing and account managers to ensure Red Bull looks like the category leader across all accounts

• Aid the finance team monthly on accruals and reconciliation of actual to forecast spend

• Work with the Accounts teams on the delivery of claims processing, payments, and discounts

 

ACTIVATION OF THE ‘WORLD OF RED BULL’ IN SELECTED KEY ACCOUNTS

• Engage customer partners by bringing them into the ‘World of Red Bull”

• Own key moments and create online events through an end to end online activation program (content, visibility, search).

• Work with the brand team to develop & execute key occasions across customer portfolio

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years key account management experience
  • At least 2 years of eCommerce experience in pureplay or omnichannel environments
  • Experience in retail media, category management, or trade marketing is highly regarded
  • Exceptional negotiation and customer management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
